🩺 Neonatal Resuscitation Course – Basic and Advanced

Organized by: RCP neonatal NET (trading name of Neonatal Device S.A.C., RUC 20601406412)

Mode: Online course with certified hands-on practice.
Target audience: Doctors, residents, nurses, and obstetricians interested in improving their skills in immediate newborn care and applying the latest neonatal resuscitation guidelines.

🎯 Objectives

• Update theoretical knowledge on basic and advanced neonatal resuscitation.
• Develop practical skills through simulations and virtual clinical scenarios.
• Apply standardized protocols for initial care and advanced support of the newborn.

📚 Course structure

The course consists of six progressive modules:

BASIC RESUSCITATION

• Module 1: Birth assessment.
• Module 2: Initial steps and positive pressure ventilation (PPV).
• Module 3: Corrective steps of PPV and use of laryngeal mask.

ADVANCED RESUSCITATION

• Module 4: Neonatal endotracheal intubation.
• Module 5: External chest compressions (3:1 ratio).
• Module 6: Administration of medications during resuscitation.

📝 Evaluation

Theoretical evaluation is done online after completing the relevant modules. A minimum score of 80% is required to access hands-on practice.

🏥 Hands-on practice

Supervised practical integration workshop, simulating neonatal resuscitation scenarios. Requires passing the theoretical evaluation. Participation is scheduled in shifts according to availability.

📜 Certification

• Theoretical certificate: upon completing all six modules and passing the online evaluation.
• Theoretical-practical certificate: upon passing the theory and participating in the hands-on workshop.

📅 Duration

Total approximate duration: 8 hours of theory and practice (online course + workshop).
